One of 2 Bull tongue Simpsons Ive ever made and by far the largest. These were used for Butchering the game taken with the Simpson points. Meat Clevers!! This one is made from Keokuk Chert from Oklahoma its heat treated so the material and the heating is off on the type! Oh well...A really nice piece Click for front and back Images.

Talk about an eye stopper. This colorful Novaculite is just superb. Flaking is very close to perfect. Looks COSMIC with Jupiter in Mind! Tip is a Tangerine color, dot has a red center, rays coming off it, several moons and a lot of stars! COSMIC!!! Thought of making a Clovis but hated to break this unique piece. Yeah I was chicken!

Here is a very nicely knapped Bipointed blade. Very sharp edgework and 9.25" long. Thickness is around 3/8" in the center median. Colors and banding in this piece of Keokuk is superb. On the reverse side there is a small hinge i tried to pick off near the edge. Doesnt distract from the piece! Started at the Knap in at Ochlockonee and finished at home.
